Privacy policy

If you contact us: your name, email and message. If you subscribe: your email, a payment reference from our payment provider (never your card details) and your alert preferences. When you use the site: technical logs (IP address, browser, pages visited, time).

To run the site and your account, send the alerts you asked for, handle corrections and complaints, keep the service secure, and meet legal duties. We don't sell your data and don't use it for advertising profiles.

Only service providers that help us run TipKhata (hosting, database, email delivery, payments), under contracts that limit them to that work, and authorities when the law requires it.

Logs for at least one year, as the law requires, then we delete them. Account data until you close your account or withdraw consent, then we erase it unless the law requires us to keep it.

You can ask what we hold about you, correct it, have it erased, withdraw consent (as easily as you gave it), and name someone to act for you. Write to our privacy contact; we reply within 30 days. You can also complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

If there is a data breach that affects you, we will tell you and the Board without delay.

Scorecards are built from statements creators made public themselves. If you are a creator and think something about you is wrong, use the corrections form or write to our privacy contact.

TipKhata is for people 18 and older. We don't knowingly collect data from children.
